SALAWIN NATIONAL PARK
General Information
Salaween National Park is in Sob Mei and Mae Sa-riang, Mae Hong Son Province. Most of this area is in the high mountain, and lowland. The forest is very well reserved, and measures 750 square kilometers or 468,750 rai.
It is summer between March-May, rainy in June-October, and winter in November-February
It is very well preserved and is the water source of Yuam, Salaween, Kong Ka, Mae Ngae, and Han Rivers. There are many kinds of plants such as Teak, Xylia Xylocarpa (redwood plants) etc. There are antelopes, deer, barking deer, tigers, boars, bears, squirrel, chipmunks, gibbons, palm civets, and birds.
