We will be driving the steep dirt roads, the winding paved roads through the splendid hills and mountains of Northern Thailand with its spectacular views and scenery, we will be camping at hill stations at 1,500mtrs in view of Thailand's highest mountains Doi Inthanon and Chiang Dao of 2,000 and 2,500mtrs, we will be staying at comfortable lodges along the Pai River, you will experience Thai Cuisine at its best with many local northern dishes.
We will be amongst the hill tribe people of Karen, Hmong, Lisu, Lahu and the Chinese Haw and Shan tribes near the Burmese boarder, we will visit different styles of villages, temples and markets from all the ethnic cultures along the way.
We will take the Long Tail Boats up to the Long Neck Karen village, we will visit the magnificent Tan Lod Cave with its huge caverns, enjoy a tranquil elephant trek through the jungles of Mae Hong Son, and an exhilarating Bamboo rafting trip down the Pai river, Camping at the magnificent Surin waterfalls, visit the Golden Triangle's notorious poppy growing region at the borders of Thailand-Laos-Myanmar.
